The SNCF has launched its first mobile website to enable their users to prepare their car pooling online ! Developed by Mobil’It Studio in partnership with Greencove, the mobile website offers to users the ability to find and offer rides from the train stations. The mobile users access the mobile site by flashing the QR codes placed on the station terminals.

Your SNCF carpooling in mobile web !

From the SNCF  carpooling  mobile website, you can easily find a route from one station to a destination, or from the train stations served by the train of users.

The mobile user has also the ability to offer carpooling as a driver, passenger or co-taxi (to book a taxi in common). Your trips and your requests for carpooling are managed from a user account. The user can connect at any time from his account on all terminals connected to the internet.

To access to the SNCF carpooling, QR codes are placed on identifying terminals. The mobile user flashes one of those QR codes to directly access the mobile website.

Users can even manage travelers preferences ! Luggage, smoking, pets, music…are all habits that the mobile user can inform in his profile intended for other users. Finally, sms, call and e-mail can get in touch directly between mobile users in the mobile website ! Once the recipient has authorized these contacts and informed the necessary contact.
